You know those tweets where you read them and think about whether or not it would hurt too much to poke your eyes out so you never have to read something like that again?

Too dramatic?

Eh, when you read as many tweets as we do it makes sense … for example, LOOK at this sanctimonious BS from Matthew Dowd.

I am going to say this again as I have said for the last few years: the media does an incredible disservice when they seek balance, instead of the truth. Having guests on to get balance, but who take us further from the truth, hurts our world.

So basically, Matthew is advocating only talking to one side of an issue, or at least that’s how we read it. We’d ask him but he has this editor blocked.

So kim so what do you think the goal of journalism if it isn’t the truth? Do you think we should have people on panels that argue the earth is flat?

Actually, the goal of journalism is presenting facts–and presenting them on both sides of any given issue. Americans then get to work out themselves, on the basis of those facts, the truth. We don't need press to divine it for us. Just try who/what/where/when/why/how https://t.co/I6LAXl21YF
