While Rachel Mitchell was questioning Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, she asked to make some corrections to her own letter.
Why would she do that?
Why is Ford checking the accuracy of a letter she wrote herself? #KavanaughHearings

It just seems sort of odd to this editor that she would correct her own letter.
And Ford is just making her own best estimate of what happened.
So Ford admitted to inaccuracies in her own letter to Feinstein. She pointed out a couple and was about to list more but got interrupted.

After she made corrections (which she said weren’t corrections after Mitchell came back to her), Dianne Feinstein then asked Dr. Ford how she remembered this, and she went into some sort of explanation about memory.
She says this could "absolutely not" be a case of mistaken identity because of brain function. Worth noting she can't remember date, location, or how she got there.
