Daily Beast journo Ken Klippenstein claimed our border policies are literally killing people.

*sigh*

Sure, the policies made the guy crash his SUV.

K.

He really isn’t.

He may be, but he does have a point. Issues with illegal immigration have indeed cost people their lives, just not the ones Ken wants us to focus on. Cameron Gray pointed out how these policies literally have cost people their lives, and Ken will likely not be pleased.

Ouch.

Interesting how these lives don’t seem to matter all that much to the crowd crying about our border policies. If they truly cared about fixing the issues and resolving the problem they would, but since it’s about votes and pandering at this point these deaths do not serve a purpose in their narrative so they are overlooked.

There’s more:

Breaks our hearts.

Unreal.

Awww yes, they seem to forget this one as well. And in case you forgot …

From ABC News:

One of the victims was thrown into the center lane of the interstate, police said. That victim was also hit by a state police trooper arriving at the scene, police said.

The suspect, Manuel Orrego-Savala, 37, fled on foot and was later apprehended, police said. He was arrested and is being held in the Marion County Jail. Charges are pending.

Police said that Orrego-Savala, who was using the alias Alex Cabrera Gonsales, was believed to be intoxicated and driving without a license.

He is a citizen of Guatemala and is allegedly in the United States illegally, police said, adding that he was previously deported in 2007 and 2009.

Wow.

So Ken definitely had a point, but unfortunately for him, it wasn’t the one he was desperately trying to make.
