Gun activist, and Conservative badass, Antonia Okafor was all set to speak at Hampshire College when the event was magically canceled just hours before her speech was scheduled to begin.

From Campus Reform:

Rahim Hirani, president of Junoon, received approval to host the event on Monday, according to an email thread obtained by Campus Reform. But at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, as Okafor was already on her way to campus, the school reversed course.

“The Contract Request Form that was submitted was denied because it did not have complete information about the presenter,” Carolyn Strycharz, director of campus leadership, informed Hirani by email, going on to call the very nature of the event “controversial.”

Of course, the application was filled out but that didn’t stop them from releasing this lame apology:

Ummm, wow.

Seems the President of Hampshire College then contacted Antonia to take full responsibility for the cancellation and stated it shouldn’t have happened.

Took ’em long enough.

Why on Earth would any college find a strong, black, Conservative female and gun advocate to be controversial?

Wait, don’t answer that.

Welcome to 2017.
