Occasionally, Evita Duffy-Alfonso posts on social media and she also cares very much about preserving the rights of young women. Recently, she has become quite the target of 'The Daily Beast' for some reason.

Sean Duffy dismissed the notion of young people attaining fulfillment by finding “fame on social media,” even though one of his daughters has hundreds of thousands of online followers—and his boss posts late into the night.
Duffy, speaking at the opening of the America 250 celebrations in Washington, preached about faith and family. The 54-year-old transportation secretary also emphasized the importance of road trips to reconnect with family members, after having done so earlier this year.
Here's the thing about young Moms, they are often up in the middle of the night with their baby. Online friends and other Moms can bring lots of comfort and community. Apparently, Evita isn't allowed to be a normal American mom.
I'm not a young Mom anymore, but I would have loved the internet back when I had babies. My husband and I divorced when my son was about 8 months old and I was up many nights alone, a new Mom, terrified and utterly alone. Talking to other Moms would have been such a gift. Obviously, Evita has a wonderful husband, but it's still nice to have other women to share Mothering with.
I still have insomnia almost every night, and my Twitter friends keep me from spiraling and worrying about not sleeping. Most of the time, I fall asleep with my Twitter account open. For someone with anxiety, keeping my mind busy is imperative.

This looks like a young couple having a great time at a wonderful event with their new child's grandparents. What a blessing! Americans should celebrate this and sharing the pictures should be encouraged. It's good for young women to see successful motherhood and happy families. More of this!
