Today, the news has been filled with articles about Hunter Biden and his profanity laced rant directed at the Democratic party and everyone he blames for his father dropping out of his recent bid for the Presidency. The clips are embarrassing and at times he seems barely lucid. Listen, I don't like Nancy Pelosi or the Pod Bros either, but those are supposed to be his family's allies. He's making a bunch of enemies with seemingly no regards to collateral damage. My own assessment? He is very likely not sober.

Obviously, this isn't too much of a reach as Hunter has spent a whole bunch of his life on various substances and there was a whole laptop full of material to prove it.

Obviously, there is no way to prove if he's drunk or high aside from a test he would never take, but his behavior shows all the signs. I'm a bit of an expert after being married to an addict for over a decade. The profanity, the aggression, the inability to keep his train of thought and going off on a million tangents? Yes, those are some of the signs. The other possibility is he has done so much damage in the past to his brain, this is just how he is now.

Indeed. My ex would go on rants about Christianity and the Pope for hours when he was using. That was always my tell tale sign. Unfortunately, it's the family members who are most humiliated while the user has no idea the effect he is having. This was just a horrific display by Hunter. I feel sorry for his kids. They are the ones who pay the biggest price. The daughter he refuses to acknowledge is honestly the luckiest of his progeny, likely. Her distance from him is probably protecting her from a whole lot of heartache.

For full disclosure, Hunter claims he is sober and has been since 2019. I am highly skeptical because all the signs indicate otherwise. His family should ask him to get off the interview circuit.
