He told Lesley Stahl that he’ll only take a salary of $1:

President-elect Trump also seemed to backtrack on his campaign promise to have an special prosecutor investigate Hillary Clinton’s private email server. Now he’s saying he’s thinking about it, but he doesn’t “want to hurt them” and they’re “good people”:
