Nate Silver's take on the political reality post-Roe won't go over well with Dems

Data journo Nate Silver warned Dems that the political reality post-Roe means that things will not change anytime soon. He tweeted:

“It’s true in many aspects of life that having a longer time horizon is rewarding. But it’s easy to forget that in politics especially in a social media era where you can get algorithmically-rewarded instant gratification.”

And he told Dems to “expand the time horizon to 5, 10, 20 years”:

Maybe it’s just dawned on Dems that this was a 40-50 year project for conservatives?

And OUCH from Frank Luntz: “Anecdotally, I’ve seen liberal activists focus more on pronouns or removing statues than on the SCOTUS”:

EMILY’s List, a supporter of pro-abortion candidates, tweeted that “we must make [Republicans] pay at the ballot box”:

Um, what if voters just don’t care that much?

“It’s unclear whether abortion opinions would outweigh the public’s opinions about other issues where Democrats are vulnerable.”

See you in November.
