Yesterday, I wrote an article for Twitchy mocking the mayor of Dearborn, Michigan, for declaring that his name, Abdullah Hussein Hammoud, is 'as American as any other.'
As I noted in the article, of course it isn't, but more importantly, it is Mayor Hammoud's values that are not American. When he tells Christians that they are not welcome in Dearborn or when he openly denounces the concept of assimilation, that is about as UN-American as you can get.
Afterwards, yesterday afternoon and evening, I noticed a strange mass formation psychosis developing among Michigan Democrats. They were ALL defending Dearborn as the most American of cities, and claiming 'Islamophobia' is not welcome there. It was all of them, from national politicians to local state representatives, all repeating the same lies.

Again, I would ask State Senate Majority Whip McMorrow to show me the last time Dearborn 'celebrated diversity,' but everyone knows she would never answer. Because that doesn't exist.
Even David Hogg, who would likely be stoned if he ever stepped into the city, got in on the pandering to a group of people who despise him.
Dearborn is a big part of what makes Michigan special. Bigots will never understand that, because they are too afraid of diversity.

At first, I thought, 'Wow. I must have really struck a nerve.'
But as much as I would like to take credit for all of this furor and rote recitation of the power of 'diversity,' Governor Gretchen Whitmer let the cat out of the bag that it was not my Twitchy article that made all of these 'wypipo' cheer for a city that hates them as much as it hates me.

Because I wouldn't set foot in Dearborn if you paid me. For the same reason that I have no plans to travel to Yemen this year.
No, Whitmer issued her fatwa (which every Democrat dutifully obeyed) because Jake Lang was going to address the Dearborn City Council yesterday.
There's no question that Lang is an instigator. The last time he was in Dearborn a few months ago, he mocked the Quran with a piece of bacon. While some may consider that a vulgar form of protest, he made his point because the Islamists in the city violently assaulted him for that innocent, if perhaps juvenile, act.
However, instigator though he may be, when you listen to what he told the City Council yesterday, there's also no question that he is correct. Watch:

Lang also confronted the Dearborn Police Chief for refusing to act the last time he was in Dearborn.

Which part of any of Lang's comments to the Council or Police Chief do all these Democrats find false? And if they find any of what he said false, where is their evidence proving he is wrong?
But, as we all know, that's not what they do. They simply condemn. And in their condemnations, they implicitly encourage more violence.
This is what happened to Lang last night for the crime of exercising his right to free speech in an allegedly 'all-American city,' according to elected Democrats (and the unelected dweeb Hogg).

As I noted yesterday, Dearborn is no longer an American city, and it's time to stop pretending that it is.
The irony, of course, was noted by Lang in his address to the City Council. Democrats think they are using the anti-American Muslims in Dearborn for short-term political gain. The reality is that the people who want to bring Sharia Law to America are using the gullible Democrats and other leftists like the 'Queers for Palestine.'
And when the radical Islamists, like Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, gain enough power, the useful idiots on the left will cease being useful.
That's when America truly will become like the fictional country of Palestine the Left loves so much.
If that ever happens, white Democrats like Whitmer, Dingell, Peters, and far too many others ought to stay far away from any rooftops.
