Sorry, Pete Buttigieg: We All See RIGHT Through You on the Issue of Boys in Girls Sports

Yesterday, failed South Bend Mayor and failed Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg tried to convince NPR viewers (what few of them there are) that he should be taken seriously as a 2028 presidential candidate by touting his outstanding record of ... complaining about Donald Trump.

Of course, in saying that the Trump administration was populated with 'incompetent people,' Buttigieg stepped on a rake the size of the average pothole in South Bend that Buttigieg never fixed. But self-awareness has never been his strong suit.

Shockingly, there was more to the interview than just Trump-bashing, however, and Buttigieg was inevitably asked the question that he and the rest of the Democrats simply cannot answer: boys playing in girls' sports.

Like most of the Democratic hopefuls for 2028, he danced around the question and tried to avoid saying the only sane thing that anyone can say when asked about that. Watch:

What the hell was that word salad? Chess? Weightlifting?

How about simply saying that boys should compete against boys and girls should compete against girls?

He can't do that, of course, because the trans activists in his base would descend on him like a ravenous pack of jackals. (Also, because he doesn't believe that himself.)

That's exactly what he is saying by making a distinction between middle school and the Olympics. And it's disgraceful.

Yes, he is a coward. We don't deny that.

But he is far, FAR worse than that.

There is something deeply insidious in Buttigieg's response if you pay close attention. Our colleague at Townhall, Larry O'Connor, caught it.

Yes, I listened to it very carefully.

Note the end of his answer, where he talks about who should be 'empowered to make the right decisions.' Did you spot what was missing there?

The girls themselves. And their parents. They don't get a say in Buttigieg's Marxist worldview.

No, it is up to the schools, which Buttigieg knows are run by people as far left as he is.

Worse than that, it is up to the completely undefined 'communities' and 'organizations.'

I have written about what Democrats mean when they say 'communities,' as Hillary Clinton did in her infamous book, 'It Takes a Village.' They don't mean the people in your neighborhood. And they surefire don't mean your church community. They mean the communities that THEY define, like the LGBTQ2IA+ cult, or the Democrat Party itself.

And when Buttigieg says it should be up to 'organizations,' we know who he means there, too. He means WPATH, and The Trevor Project, and any other corrupt outfit that will say that boys can be girls and girls can be boys if you just pump enough poison into them and chop off their healthy body parts.

Sorry, kids. Sorry, parents. You have no voice. Buttigieg and his Marxist organizations will decide 'the right thing to do.'

And then they will force you to comply.

It's a mistake to conclude that Buttigieg is speaking illogically here. He's not.

Yes, it's true that he is dodging saying what he means directly and clearly, as the post above notes. That is because the left is losing on the trans issue, and they know it. So they try to hide it. But their intention has not changed.

Buttigieg is doing what the left did for decades before they became emboldened in the Obama years and went too far.

The pendulum against them has swung back HARD, so he is couching his ideology in 'kinder, gentler' language, now. But if you pay close attention, that ideology is just as evil as it has always been.

Silence parents. Alienate children. Put 'organizations' in charge as you use them to dismantle and replace families. Destroy tradition and normalcy.

None of this should come as a surprise from a man who posed in an obstetrics bed with babies that he did not give birth to and believes that he, a male, can 'chestfeed' those same children.

Don't get me wrong. Buttigieg IS a coward. Megyn Kelly and Riley Gaines are correct about that.

But make no mistake. He's not stupid, and he is extremely dangerous.

As Jesus warned in the Sermon on the Mount, 'Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.'

And they look exactly like Pete Buttigieg.
