The Harmeet Hammer Is DROPPING on Blue States That Continue to Defy Anti-Discrimination Laws

For all the Democrats' whining that President Trump is a 'lawless fascist,' his administration has been doing pretty much everything by the book.

Despite activist District Court judges trying to block literally EVERYTHING that the administration has done, from enforcing immigration law to ending DEI to even determining the content of websites, the administration has not ignored these restraining orders (despite many conservatives urging them to); they have fought back against them in court. And far more often than not, they are winning those legal battles.

As usual, Democrats are engaged in pure projection. If you want an example of lawlessness, other than looking back on all four years of the Biden administration, all you need to do is look at the hiring practices in blue states.

America has the Fourteenth Amendment that guarantees equal protection under the law. We also have, for good measure, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits race-based discrimination. And to top it all off, we have the 2023 SCOTUS ruling in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard, in which the Court basically said, 'Yes, we really mean it. You CANNOT discriminate based on race.'

And what are the Democrats doing? Ignoring all of the above.

This week, the Minnesota Department of Human Resources was caught red-handed (blue-handed?) openly stating that if anyone wants to hire a straight, white man for a job over an 'under-represented' candidate, that requires a 'hiring justification.'

How about this for a 'hiring representation'?

The best person for the job should get the job, regardless of how many DEI boxes they do or do not check.

Then there is Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey, who took time off from reminiscing about his glory days in the Mesozoic Era to announce that his office is looking for interns, but only interns who are 'BIPOC' or 'LGBTQ+.'

If this strikes anyone as blatantly discriminatory and illegal, that's only because it is.

As always with the left, if you are looking for the 'lawlessness' they constantly shriek about, it's a good bet that the call is coming from inside the house.

And these are just a couple of examples of Democrat regimes that are overtly defying established civil rights law and daring the federal government to do something about it.

In a way, I can't blame them. They have gotten away with this for far too long.

The good news is that, for the first time in recent memory, they may actually suffer some consequences for their actions.

California is another blue state that believes the law doesn't apply to them. They have been openly ignoring Title IX and allowing men to compete in women's sports. When Education Secretary Linda McMahon demanded they stop, California ignored her

But then came the Harmeet Hammer.

It took less than a full day for Harmeet Dhillon, the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, to respond to California with a federal lawsuit.

We need a lot more FAFO. For California, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and anyone else who believes that the rules don't apply to them.

I should add that I know Attorney General Pam Bondi is taking it on the chin right now for the Epstein files, and she deserves that, but this rapid response from the DOJ also could not be possible without her full-throated support of holding states accountable.

Make no mistake, though. Dhillon is the DOJ's civil rights attack dog, and she has no leash when it comes to states or elected representatives discriminating against their constituents.

Tim Walz and the Minnesota DHS need to get smacked down by the Harmeet Hammer immediately.

Senator Ed Markey? You're next, too.

And anyone else who thinks they can still get away with blatant discrimination, I hope it falls on you. Swiftly and mercilessly.

We are still a nation of laws. And those laws mean nothing if they only apply to one political party.

The more states get punished -- hard -- for defying them, the fewer will try it in the future.

Unleash the Harmeet Hammer on ALL of them.
