I've heard these and probably a thousand other invectives hurled by the left, sometimes at conservatives in general, sometimes at me personally, but all designed to try to guilt everyone into allowing our country to remain invaded after four years of the Biden administration's open border.
Most of the time, I laugh them off because I know that the left doesn't actually care about kindness or compassion (just look at Texas this week); they only want illegal immigrants to remain here for political power.
But I do sometimes worry that the incessant barrage of propaganda -- including calling an MS-13 human trafficker a 'Maryland man,' crying about 'deporting babies' when illegals are simply taking their children with them, or straight up lying about a pregnant illegal criminal not receiving proper care -- will have an effect on public opinion.
I know most Americans have woken up to the fact that the legacy media is in the business of lying to hurt the current administration, but that doesn't mean that osmosis suddenly stops being a real thing. Even if you don't trust the source, hearing the same agitprop day after day after day might impact even the most critical thinkers, not to mention those who only pay passing attention to politics.
That is why, when leftist narratives are proven to have failed, I usually stand up and cheer.
And according to the latest polls, the Democrat and media narrative about illegal immigration and deportations has fallen flat on its face.

Yes, you read that correctly. Not just illegal immigrants who come here and commit additional crimes. Not just those who are obviously committed to sabotaging this country, but ALL illegal immigrants.
Every. Last. One.
And CNN didn't even include another recent poll from CBS News that showed the numbers even higher.

All of these numbers are even more remarkable when we consider the media onslaught I mentioned before, along with Democrats like LaMonica McIver, Jose Padilla (sometimes called Alex), Maxine Waters, and Brad Lander pulling ridiculous publicity stunts to try to turn public opinion against Trump, ICE, and Tom Homan.
The fact that CNN had to air this report is just the icing on the cake. This was their own Harry Enten telling them, in so many words, 'Your lies have failed.'
The second half of the video above is even more revealing, as Enten presents the HUGE change in public opinion over the past decade.

It shows that the American people believe their eyes and ears (as they should) far more than they believe the media. In 2015, the media could still downplay the crisis of illegal immigration, and people might have still bought it.
But after the last four years, after Laken Riley and Jocelyn Nungaray, after Aurora, Colorado, and Springfield, Ohio, after seeing Mexican and Palestinian flags being waved in cities instead of American ones, the American people have had it.
And you just know that if these are the numbers in mainstream media polls, the actual sentiment among Americans for deporting all illegals is likely far higher.

And not only do people support deporting all illegals, as Enten notes at the end of the clip, there is growing sentiment among Americans to slow down or stop legal immigration.
We'll call that the Ilhan Omar Effect.
If you come to America legally (and I'm not convinced Omar did even that), but your real purpose is just to protest, undermine, and hate this country, then the United States doesn't want you either.
The country is indeed healing.
The political upshot of these polls is that President Trump should not pump the brakes even slightly. Now that ICE has been fully funded by the Big Beautiful Bill, it's time to put the pedal to the metal.
In reality, Tom Homan probably could not forcibly deport 20 million+ illegals even if he had 20 years to do it, instead of just four. But many signs indicate that the administration's plan to make many self-deport is starting to work as well.
Between the two avenues, we can get this done. Maybe not every last one, but enough that the Democrats' political strategy of replacement will be in ruins.
And the best part of the failure of the media regarding illegal immigration is that we tried to warn them, and they refused to listen.
For years during the Biden administration, conservatives warned Democrats that they were asking for -- practically begging for -- a gigantic blowback. But they smugly thought they would never lose power, so they ignored that and kept spinning lies about how closing the border was impossible.
Welp. Here we are, leftists.
Welcome to the pendulum, swinging right back in your face.
As the polls indicate, your constant stream of lies about immigration is now falling on OUR deaf ears.
