Earlier today Sam wrote about Barack Obama's speech in Georgia yesterday. It was quintessential Obama, which consists of the requisite combination of a massive lack of self-awareness and a re-writing of his presidential history.
For me, there's one contradiction with Obama that best exposes just what a phony hypocrite he is.
I've written occasionally about Obama's slams on gerrymandering, which is pretty much the reason for his fast rise in national politics. This isn't Obama's defining legacy, but it's close:
Obama's entire national political career got launched because of gerrymandering, so now of course it's something that "undermines our democracy." https://t.co/9W8blzXLow https://t.co/VMA4oYzDif

Obama's been lucky that he's had the media in his pocket for so long or else he might be considered a total joke by now.
But for my money Obama's "legacy" should be his laughable lectures against "divisiveness."
This is something Obama said in Georgia yesterday.
Barack Obama: "I am tired of being divided! I want friendship and neighborliness!" https://t.co/1LIdDcwq5L

Oh puh-leeze!
Now let's go back to where it all began (and by "it" I mean Obama's contribution to how Trump ended up getting elected):
Obama's not unlike candidates in the Alaska Senate race — there are two of them who have the same name. Will the real Obama please stand up!?
Yeah, that'll never happen.
