Republican voters should never be discouraged by polls that might show Democrat candidates with a lead to the point of discouragement from voting because often that's the goal.
As a matter of fact, an audit of how thousands of polls over the past several Senate elections have performed makes it abundantly clear what's going on.
🚨 NEW: Deep dive investigation into 3,000+ Senate polls over the last 4 cycles. They've overestimated Democrats in all 4 cycles, 73% of polls overstate the Democrat, and it's worse right now, in the summer. https://t.co/CQb0WIKpAs

Really interesting work from Patrick Ruffini. Across 3,312 Senate polls over four cycles, he finds a D+3.7 average error, with 73% overstating Democrats. Even more interesting is that the error peaks around D+5.9 in late July before narrowing toward Election Day.

Here's the rest of the above post:
That adds an important dimension to what we found in our broader Quantus Insights Apr 23, 2025 study. We documented a persistent post-2016 directional error, including roughly D+4.2 across presidential battlegrounds, with some of the largest misses among working-class, rural and non-college electorates.
Aside from this problem being directional there’s also a seasonal component too, particularly in midterms, when summer polling can substantially overstate Democratic strength. It’s not until days into October before the electorate comes into clearer focus.

Polling "errors" seem to be like the media's "mistakes" and always favor the Democrats.
Everyone - pay attention to this and stop thinking polls are accurate. They have long been biased toward Ds and this careful study shows by how much. https://t.co/Vdfi9J3ABN

Socialism and manipulation of polls go hand-in-hand.

We're certainly going to see lots of polling games taking place as we close in on the November midterms.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
