After Kamala Harris' picked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running-mate, a rather surprising move which thrilled the Trump campaign and Republicans, the MSM immediately knew what their job would be: To make the far-Left Democrat appear to be a moderate, folksy "man next door" type. As a matter of fact, the word "folksy" caught on with the media about as fast as the "weird" talking point, and it was obvious that another memo had been sent and received.
You can tell it's an election year when journalists start calling Tim Walz - who promotes child mutilation and BLM riots - a "centrist."

Something similar holds true for Kamala Harris. Just a few months ago there were calls on the Left for Biden to replace her on the ticket because she was even more unpopular than Joe. Now Biden has been made to step aside and Harris has taken over without ever winning a single vote (to "save democracy" of course) and Dems and the media are trying to turn her into something she's not.
Every day more GOP ad material drops, and today's example is that DSA praise for Tim Walz. At least Harris might have found somebody who's even more of a whacko leftist than she is, and maybe that was the point this VP pick.
