Here's How the Biden Plans to Contrast Himself From Trump (Good Luck With This)

The Biden campaign continues to trail Trump in all seven swing states which means the gaslighting is about to get even more desperate:

Former President Trump is pulling more support than President Biden in at least seven swing states that are likely going to determine the election, a survey released this week found.

The Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll found Biden trailing Trump in several critical states — Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada and Wisconsin — when voters were asked who they would support in a hypothetical general election. Large shares of the respondents voiced concerns with Biden’s age, while a significant percentage said Trump was dangerous.

Right on cue, I ran across a story this morning that almost made me spit coffee all over the room, and it's about the Biden campaign's strategy to contrast themselves with Donald Trump:

This is going to be a bold strategy indeed:

“Speaking of Donald Trump, just a few days ago, he asked the famous question at one of his rallies: Are you better off today than you were four years ago?” Biden said at a pair of Dallas-area campaign fundraisers, one of which brought in $2.5 million, one of the hosts said.

“Well Donald, I’m glad you asked that question man because I hope everyone in the country takes a moment to think back when it was like in March of 2020,” Biden said.

Team Biden hopes people are really dumb enough to conflate what happened at the start of Covid (no toilet paper, etc.) with general economic and other conditions.

For most people I know, the answer to Biden's "are you better off than you were four years ago" question is quite simple:

Amazingly, they're actually going with that approach considering the reality of the last 3.5 years.

Then we can factor in other things from four years ago, such as a much more secure border and no wars overseas, and no, people are mostly NOT better off than they were before Biden took office.

Note that I said most -- but not all -- people are worse off than they were four years ago, because exceptions do apply:

And "The Big Guy" is definitely doing well for himself these days.

I'm cringing just trying to imagine the coming gaslighting intended to convince the rest of us we're all better off than we were four years ago.
