Governor Gavin Newsom’s “talk about anything that’s a slam on Republicans and not about California” tour continues, and the gaslighting made its way to MSNBC over the weekend.
What made it an extra challenging interview for Newsom is that he was subjected to questioning from… former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki. There’s nothing as hard-hitting as cable news host interviewing somebody she pretty much agrees with about everything.
Here’s one portion of the interview during which Newsom explains why DeSantis is “afraid of the people.” Try not to laugh:

Didn’t DeSantis very recently get overwhelmingly re-elected so he could do things like that? But there are reasons Newsom doesn’t want to focus on his own state while ramping up a possible run for president.
