As we told you yesterday, President Trump tweeting out a meme of the hero dog that assisted during the al-Baghdadi raid sent journo after journo after journo into full “fact check” mode. Among media outlets who were trying to sniff out the truth and origins of the Photoshop was the Washington Post, who contacted the Daily Wire seeking confirmation. Ben Shapiro shared the response:
So, WaPo asked my business partner, @jeremydboreing, about our Medal of Honor dog meme. His glorious response is screencapped below. Their report then suggested Jeremy refused to answer questions about the picture. Um, no. We just think you’re being f***ing insane. pic.twitter.com/pEyOH96hEr

So, to answer the question from the Post and other Pulitzer-seeking journalists who can’t read between the lines:
Yes, we created the meme. Yes, it is a joke. Yes, you people are also jokes. Please feel free to quote both me and Jeremy on this.

LOL. Any more questions, MSM firefighters?
They *still* don’t understand that sh*t like this is exactly why Trump won… https://t.co/AoaEYT88sv

Shh! Don’t tell ’em!
.@AlexHortonTX, why not offer the quote? Why imply @JeremyDBoreing didn't respond? https://t.co/SXRWS2T6u3

This should be the standard reply to 90% of WaPo’s request for comment https://t.co/JHV7dcRk9l

ARE THEY ACTUALLY SERIOUS
"Journalism" + Trump Derangement Syndrome, ladies and gentlemen. It's gotten so bad that they're fact-checking MEMES! https://t.co/ysit3bItRJ

Question for journalists: If you ask for comment and get one, can you still claim there was no comment? https://t.co/TbMRs3DyK5

Meanwhile…
Not to worry. The NYT contacted the real guy and he laughed. He had no problem with it at all.

Fact check: TRUE.
Yesterday the Daily Wire presented something new for the MSM fact-checkers to chew on:
This should keep the NYT busy for a while pic.twitter.com/OTjy1iuOOr
