Apparently there have been some differing opinions on Fox News of late, and the New York Times found that newsworthy, not to mention mock-worthy:
As Fox News’s anchors covered President Trump and the impeachment inquiry this week, they found themselves clashing — with their own colleagues, on-air in full public view https://t.co/TfnkHypHE5
— The New York Times (@nytimes) September 28, 2019
Oh, really?
So you’re mocking a news outlet for having diverse viewpoints?
Says more about you… https://t.co/oGriPq0ce3
— Ashe Schow (@AsheSchow) September 28, 2019
It sure does.
You clash with your own hacks behind closed doors, I assume…
— El Jefe (@ElJefeTulum) September 28, 2019
Unlike the Times — which has zero Trump supporters on the its editorial board — this news outlet employs people with a wide array of views, which sometimes stir passionate on-air disagreement: https://t.co/LZ1aDsQT4N
— Guy Benson (@guypbenson) September 28, 2019
Look the NYT wrote a story praising Fox News for being so balanced. https://t.co/b795azBtOb
— Veronique de Rugy (@veroderugy) September 28, 2019
The New York Times inadvertently calls Fox News “Fair and Balanced” https://t.co/IYfsELg1tC
— Jerry Dunleavy (@JerryDunleavy) September 28, 2019
Oops! They certainly can’t say that about other media outlets:
Wait…people held DIFFERENT VIEWS but were on the same news channel??? ??? https://t.co/HPpTPNwFuB
— Chad Felix Greene (@chadfelixg) September 28, 2019
It's so weird that they are covering open debate within a news network as something negative. "Sheesh, pick a position and stick to it, guys." https://t.co/uQqU2OuP5p
— neontaster (@neontaster) September 28, 2019
I know this may come as a shock to you, but some media outlets tolerate more than one viewpoint
— Angela Morabito (@AngelaLMorabito) September 28, 2019
They find it highly unusual, newsworthy in fact, that all employees do not toe the party line. https://t.co/XRklyObWY7
— Brian Rafferty (@RisksRewards) September 28, 2019
NYT deems it newsworthy that reporters at Fox disagree publicly with one another.
This says more about NYT than about Fox.

— Lawyer Dog (@TheClarksTale) September 28, 2019
There won’t be any clashing in your all-leftist newsroom. https://t.co/M6VmzTWMJi
— Nick Searcy, INTERNATIONAL FILM & TELEVISION STAR (@yesnicksearcy) September 28, 2019
That’s awesome. It means they truly are fair and balanced.
— Nathan James (@NJames813) September 28, 2019
Narrator: Apparently it does come as a shock to the Times.
The way it should https://t.co/sjpPUBVyZh won’t see that on CNN.
— Michael Schmaltz (@SchmaltzMichael) September 28, 2019
So I guess everyone has to be in lockstep over there at Der Stürmer…I mean the New York Times.
— Mastodonkey (@mastodonkey) September 28, 2019
So everyone with the New York Times is on board with everything Sarah Jeong says?
— Chris Hynes (@realchrishynes) September 28, 2019
The fact that is diversity of perspectives at a news media organization is newsworthy to the NYT says it all. https://t.co/KqVgydHTtB
— Fusilli Spock (@awstar11) September 28, 2019
Thats good. Not like other networks who are all in together, truth be damned.
— Guerrilla Magoo ?? (@Guerrilla_Magoo) September 28, 2019
Fair and Balanced. A concept that seems very strange to the NYT.
— Vince (@VJL33) September 28, 2019
Speaking of “clashing” in “full public view”:
k, but in the past week we’ve had one NYT journalist attacking a NYT contributor for a years-old beef, and a NYT editorial board member encouraging others to cancel their subscriptions, only to be demoted the same day in a supposedly planned announcement https://t.co/ikOkdgcFfp
— Alex Griswold (@HashtagGriswold) September 28, 2019
Didn't I just see a tweet from a New York Times staffer encouraging a subscription-cancellation campaign against her own paper? https://t.co/HeJnC25vN5
