'Very cooperative of you'! Member of AOC's House 'squad' disputed WaPo reporter's direct quote and he was 'not going to second-guess' her

At the Netroots convention in Philadelphia, Washington Post reporter Dave Weigel quoted Rep. Aryanna Pressley as saying the following about the Congressional Black Caucus, which has recently been in a spat with Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and her “squad” and as you can see it’s now deleted:

Pressley seeming to hit back at the criticism from the CBC et al: "We don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need any more black voices that don’t want to be a black voice."
