On Tuesday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo met with President Trump at the White House. Cuomo has blamed the federal tax code for New York state’s drop in collected taxes:
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo urged Pres. Trump to rethink a provision in the 2017 tax overhaul that Cuomo says is prompting a sharp decline in state revenues. https://t.co/kFwVEJrIIA

But in addition to blaming Trump, Cuomo also has issues with other states’ tax laws:

It depends on what Cuomo’s definition of “stealing” is…
No, he's driving them away.

But it’s Trump and the Republicans’ fault, or something!
In socialism, you belong to the state. They can't afford to let you escape. https://t.co/VQqynQbIV2

And you know how the governor might respond to emptier state tax coffers:

Cuomo has been invited to check it out for himself:
I invite Gov. Cuomo to come visit us here in the Sunshine State to understand why so many New Yorkers see Florida as a haven for free enterprise. (3/3) @FoxNews @foxnewspolitics @FoxNewsSunday @foxandfriends @seanhannity @DanaPerino @ShepNewsTeam @TeamCavuto @AmericaNewsroom

What are the odds of Cuomo accepting that invitation? He’d much rather try to keep taxpayers all around the country on the hook for subsidizing his state’s outrageous taxes.
