As we told you earlier, Nancy Pelosi was asked about the so-called Green New Deal that’s backed by progressives in Congress such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and the House Speaker dismissed the plan as a pie-in-the-sky “green dream.” However, Ocasio-Cortez is undaunted:
AOC says she isn’t offended Pelosi called the Green New Deal a green dream. “I don’t consider that to be a dismissive term. I think it’s a great term.”
