NY Times editorial board member says anti-McCarthy GOPers fear 'the browning of America'

Yesterday, just ahead of one of the many votes in the House aimed at electing the next Speaker (which continued Thursday), Rep. Chip Roy nominated Byron Donalds for that leadership role, much to the chagrin of some Democrats:

Rep. Lauren Boebert also nominated Donalds:

In spite of all that, Mara Gay, who is on the New York Times editorial board, can be counted on to push the predictable spin:

Donalds getting some support from some anti-McCarthy Republicans is a really weird way for them to show that they fear “the browning of America”:

It’s all the Left has, really.

If only the Left ever actually listened to themselves (and they lost their minds long ago so that’s never going to happen).

Right?

That should surprise no one. But people like Mara Gay (or Cori Bush) would like these 20 or so Republicans to show how much they support putting black people in positions of political power by voting for McCarthy over Donalds… or something.
