As we told you earlier, House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff took a short break from the impeachment hearing to read something Trump had just tweeted about the witness, former Ukraine Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch:
Schiff asks Yovanovitch to respond to Trump's tweet, posted during her hearing, claiming that everywhere she worked "turned bad"
Yovanovitch: "I don't think I have such powers" https://t.co/qNx16IztcL pic.twitter.com/xmAEkTJGpD

And with that, Schiff and the Democrats are now trying to make a case for witness intimidation.
Tammy Bruce has seen more than enough:
The president tweeting his opinion about someone & defending himself isn’t ‘witness intimidation.’ This entire proceeding is a farce & to assign any seriousness to it is absurd. All participating should be ashamed of themselves. This will not serve Democrats well in 2020. https://t.co/dFaqLN2FrS

Former George W. Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer Ari Fleischer agrees.

Schiff is guilty of witness tampering, Yovonavitch had no idea of Trumps tweet!
