As Twitchy told you last night, CNN’s Jim Acosta was trying to report from a Trump rally in Tampa while many people behind him chanted “CNN sucks!” CNN’s White House correspondent, who has definitely been reinvigorated in the age of the anti-Trump Resistance, longed for a different time:
One of the surprising things I heard tonight in Tampa is Trump supporters saying I should be on their team. Anybody remember when we were all on the same team? I do.

Well, it depends on what your definition of “we” is:
Sure, if "we" refers to journalists and "team" means Obama's side. https://t.co/NilVKtUjEU

Heck, Hillary Clinton used to brag about not being “on the same team” with anybody not in lockstep with her ideology:
In 2015, Hillary Clinton said the enemy she was proudest to have made was Republicans, but somehow Jim Acosta thinks we were all holding hands and singing Kumbaya prior to November 2016. https://t.co/GSpNQlII4c

Yes, if by “we” Acosta’s referring to a large segment of the mainstream media and the Obama administration between 2009 and 2016, then he nailed it!
Come. On. https://t.co/LmLFIDQnLK

This, especially coming from CNN, is some of the biggest BS I've ever heard. You've never "been on the same team", nobody has so stop acting like it. https://t.co/rUkmKtR02d
