Yesterday, Republican Sen. Tim Scott completely embarrassed a writer and HuffPo contributor who tweeted this about Scott’s appearance with Trump and other GOPers celebrating the passage of the bill: “What a shocker… there’s ONE black person there and sure enough they have him standing right next to the mic like a manipulated prop. Way to go @SenatorTimScott. #trump #taxscambill”
Pretty awful, right? The tweet was later deleted, with this explanation offered in its place:
.@SenatorTimScott, earlier I tweeted something that I now agree was unfair. Senator, I regret that tweet & apologize for it. There were many other ways I should’ve and could’ve made my point.

Well in that case:
Go on then. Make your point as to why it’s bad for a black person to be in the shot during a press conference for a tax law he helped design in one of the many other ways.

There's a better way to make the point that you're a bigot? Please share. https://t.co/2ym7VhccP5

We’ll wait. In the meantime, who’s buying that follow-up?
But it's telling which way you went with first. https://t.co/2PZSlGMvN7

You say "unfair."
I say "racist."
You only saw his skin color and knew he was only there to sell the bill.
Pitiful.

Perhaps some introspection is in order to consider why you immediately jumped to that conclusion and thought process. Your anger and disdain for ANYTHING Trump does clouds your objectivity. Not good for someone in your profession.
Merry Christmas.

Your point was crystal clear.
You blatantly insulted Sen Tim Scott, not to mention the human race, by inferring he allowed himself to be used as a token black man in a Republican photo-op. https://t.co/5gTyMWr5Ag— H. L. Chiselfritz (@RotNScoundrel) December 21, 2017
You just confirmed what we all know Andy, that regressisve liberals are the true racist. Yall try to redirect that onto conservatives, but scratch the surface of a liberal and there it is.

Take a good long look people – THIS IS WHO THE REAL RACISTS ARE – Liberals who voice the fact that No Black Man could be standing at a podium, except to be a prop – LIBERALS ARE RACIST – This is the first thing they thought when they saw a Black Man at the podium-A PROP-NOM-HUMAN https://t.co/6oMklQOGMK

A synonym for token has the same meaning.
What point were you trying to make?— Sandy 〽️ (@RightGlockMom) December 21, 2017
Carlton's Law: If you want to know what the left really thinks about black people, just name *any* Republican who happens to be black. The mask will fall off. They can't help themselves. https://t.co/x1A6ysOO4m

What do you mean there were many other ways you could've made your point? What exactly was your point? You judged @SenatorTimScott by the color of his skin. Your racist actions show your true colors. #AndyOstroy https://t.co/qUN0z13J3E

We got your point the first time: That a black man who dares disagree with your leftist politics will be made subject to racist mocking.
Black Americans, please take note. Andy here seems to believe he and his Democrat friends own you.
