Senator Al Franken’s Twitter account made it known Wednesday afternoon that he would be making a statement Thursday after an avalanche of Democrats came forward to call for his resignation. Sen. Kamala Harris was among them, and she phrased her call for Franken’s resignation this way:
Sexual harassment and misconduct should not be allowed by anyone and should not occur anywhere. I believe the best thing for Senator Franken to do is step down.

“Should not be allowed”? Eventually anyway:

5 is good, Stephen. 6 is a bit out there. Even for leftists.

You get a 5 accuser free pass. After that, you're on your own. https://t.co/DNNbUZWFxN

Better late than never, perhaps.
Kamala: When you wait until Franken is resigning to ask him to step down–you look like a hypocrite. Thanks for the clarification. https://t.co/WnWGxiBZ6G
