I published a post earlier about how disappointed I was in John Cleese for not putting it past MAGA to run their cars into three female Democrat candidates "in the past few days." (Ohio's Marcy Kaptur was hit in early August, but what do facts matter?) I'm reminded of Donie O'Sullivan researching the topic of political violence for CNN and being unable to find any examples on the Left. Then he sat with Taylor Lorenz, and the two had a good laugh over the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by Luigi Mangione.
Speaking of assassinations, Turning Point USA is currently doing a Pick Up the Mic tour of college campuses, and I thought I'd check in to see how things are going. We're opposed to doxxing here at Twitchy, and some of the posts I want to use doxx some individuals, so I thought I'd put this behind the VIP wall.
I'm a pretty stoic person. I can have strong feelings on a subject, but I don't understand how people like the ones below function in daily society. They just go apes**t in the presence of someone who disagrees with them politically. How do you have so little control over your emotions? The whole point of Pick Up the Mic is to hold an intelligent debate, but that's just too much for some people to handle.

Speaking of Kirk, this student, who goes by Pamper Baby, made it to the mic — not to ask a question, but to read a "poem" celebrating Kirk's assassination. The chef's kiss was her telling Christian Collins that he was brave to be out there without his neck protected.

Some people appreciate Collins praying for her, but a lot believe that's the kind of "roll over and take it" behavior that's going to get more people killed.
Cleese is a smart guy. I'd like him to watch these videos and then reconsider if MAGA are the violent ones.
