It's Thursday, and millionaire Sen. Bernie Sanders has found another class of billionaire he doesn't like: stadium owners. As our own Gordon K reported, Macklemore was finally dropped from Ed Sheeran's tour. It wasn't Sheeran's decision to drop Macklemore, who gave music lovers (let's rephrase that to "people who would pay to see Ed Sheeran") an impromptu political rally in the middle of its concert, accusing Israel of genocide and calling for a free Palestine. It was the venue owners, in particular New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who said Macklemore wasn't welcome in his stadium.
Sanders, who never met a billionaire he didn't like unless they were donating hundreds of millions to Democrat campaigns, went on a rant about billionaire stadium owners silencing artists.
In the United States of America, billionaire stadium owners should not be able to silence artists because they speak out on political issues.

It’s not silencing, it’s refusing to platform. The artist is still entitled to speak, perform and engage in activism. Just not at that venue. It’s really not that controversial. The same way that many venues refuse to host conservatives or Trump.
