Macklemore Dropped From Ed Sheeran Tour

So the 'artist' who wore a prosthetic nose to mock Jews because he just wants to 'free Palestine' finally got booted from Ed Sheeran's tour.

Macklemore Dropped From Ed Sheeran Tour After 'Free Palestine' Speech https://t.co/zhvj8e5G1n

— Variety (@Variety) September 14, 2026

From the article:

Macklemore has been dropped from the remainder of Ed Sheeran‘s U.S. Loop Tour after making headlines for saying “free Palestine” on stage and delivering a political speech during the Sept. 4 concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Honestly, he's probably less vile than Rage Against the Machine and less preachy than Bruce Springsteen. Good riddance. Sure there are questions of 'cancel culture' and whether his fans, on balance, support or oppose his politics, but we're personally not upset to see another strident anti-Semite see the consequences of his bigotry.

By the venues!!@edsheeran still supported this freak! pic.twitter.com/LoS0rKwaSW

We don't know if Sheeran agrees with Macklemore, is apolitical or whatever, but the pressure did come from the concert venues.

Terrible!! Not impressed with Ed Sheeran right now. Gross!!🤮

Some fans were upset with Sheeran, as well.

Yes, yes, yes Variety, it's only his "Free Palestine" position that is in question here pic.twitter.com/DwLPtHfCvh

It is so weird that they bellow that they're not antisemitic, just anti-Zionist and yet, somehow, this keeps happening.

Of course the bigots, bots and bitter Bolsheviks were up in arms.

The cowardice is unbelievable. It's not controversial to say Palestinians should not be murdered. https://t.co/ZUxCHOjjoW

This is bullshit. What about freedom of speech?! https://t.co/yzL0mZlTqi

Who wants to tell her?

“How about MackleLESS!”

Let's end this on a silly note. Hat tip to our own Warren Squire.
