Hey, VIPs, ready for another trip across the pond? I've written extensively about Operation Raise the Colours, in which patriotic Brits fly the Cross of St. George from lampposts and such, only for the local government to come and immediately take them all down. Flying the English flag in England is something that the far-right and Islamophobes do to intimidate Britain's many, many asylum seekers. Just as American liberals are triggered by the sight of the Stars and Stripes, the "Against Racism" crowd in England is triggered by the sight of the English flag. I wasn't going to post this video because it ends with a solicitation, but here's a guy who goes by Flagman being confronted by a deputy mayor who doesn't want him raising flags because she thinks it "sends a bad message."
🚨🇬🇧 WESTON DEPUTY MAYOR CONFRONTS FLAGMAN — BUT THE BODY CAM TELLS THE STORY! 🎥👀

While we were out flagging in Weston-super-Mare, a woman came towards us giving us abuse over the flags. Turns out it was Deputy Mayor Caroline Reynolds.
She had plenty to say — but then a… pic.twitter.com/NVylPWQKei

Now it’s hit the papers 📰🇬🇧
As always, the body cam was rolling 🎥 — so watch it and make your own mind up.
👇 Are some councillors completely out of touch with the people they represent? Do you think they sometimes overstep their position?

I just happened to come across that video after coming across this post, which I believed had to be clickbait. There's no way this is real:
🚨NEW: Home Office officials have been offered 11 different mental health support services to help them cope with fears over the English flag.

Staff said the raising of the flag has left them “fearing for their lives.” pic.twitter.com/FlDLvKlN8M
As they say in England, "You're 'aving me on." But then I saw it pop up again:

A leaked recording reveals civil servants were offered 11 mental health support services amid concerns over the flying of English flags.
One official said the flag was…

I looked on Google for news articles covering this, but only found the AI overview, which confirms there was a leaked recording and that "civil servants, including a mixed-race official, discussed how a national campaign (Operation Raise the Colours) to display English and Union flags made them feel unsettled or 'triggering' regarding their safety." UK Home Office staff were offered 11 mental health support services.
I genuinely worry about Britain when people this weak minded are staffing the Home Office.

England’s flag has been flown for roughly 750 years.
Yet apparently some Home Office staff now “fear for their lives” because they’ve seen it flying.

These people aren’t merely uncomfortable with patriotism.
They are anti British, and they’re sitting at the heart of the British state.
But wait, there's more! Birmingham City Council, which told Jews to stay home from an Israeli soccer match for their own safety, is looking to jail people who fly the Union Jack from lampposts.

Patriotism is not a crime — at least not yet!
If you can't fly your own country's flag, you've been conquered. It's that simple. If asylum-seekers are so afraid of the very sight of the English flag, perhaps they should stop getting in dinghies and washing up onshore asking for housing.
