The Kamala Harris campaign came out of the gate with the talking point that J.D. Vance was "weird." It was clear early on that this was a losing strategy, considering whom Harris picked as her running mate. You want weird? How about the guy who enters the stage like a contestant on "The Price Is Right," doing jazz hands and high kicks? The one who installed tampon dispensers in boys' school restrooms.
I laughed when David Hogg of all people declared that Tim Walz was an example of "healthy masculinity." Walz was apparently meant to win over white male voters. He thought the best way to do that was to put on a camouflage Harris-Walz campaign hat and a flannel shirt and go out pheasant hunting. Folksy Walz even presented former President Barack Obama with a plaid flannel shirt after a campaign event together. Metrosexual Obama even admitted it wasn't his style.
We don't know what inspired him, but Drew Savicki wanted to relitigate the argument that Walz was the worst vice presidential pick in this century.
This idea that Tim Walz is the worst VP pick of the 21st century is nonsense. Edwards, Lieberman, Palin, and Vance were all bad choices. Walz was a perfectly fine choice. There exists a winner's bias where people declare all winning candidates and losing ones bad.

He was not a "perfectly fine choice." He managed to pull Harris' popularity numbers down even further. Convince me that Walz wasn't the worst running mate Harris could have chosen. Give me some examples.
You can't be serious. Walz was by far the worst.

You might notice Vance helped ... by destroying Walz.
Clown.
Edwards was sleazy, but he wasn't a bad pick. Lieberman was a good man, but didn't bring much to the ticket. Palin was the only reason the conservative base was even remotely enthused about McCain. And Vance was a fantastic choice.

Did you see the VP Debate?
— Vince Dao (@VinceDaoTV) January 12, 2025
He might not have been the worst but he’s up there.
Speaking of debates, I can't find the guy's name on Google, but he was the butt of an SNL skit or two after he seemed confused as to where he was and what he was doing. Was it Lloyd Benson?

You should run him at the top of the ticket in 28

He clearly has massive appeal
Please run him again.

As Doug Powers reported earlier, Fox News' Peter Doocy managed to stump Karine Jean-Pierre by asking, Who's the leader of the Democratic Party when Biden leaves?
I think it should be Tim Walz.
