Our own Amy Curtis has been on this story. I took a crack at it, but it's still bothering me. Amy did a VIP post this week called "Lies and the Lying Infanticidal Liars Who Tell Them," and as she reported Friday, Kamala Harris had planned to give a speech in Atlanta to lie about the state of Georgia's abortion laws.
Harris came through, leading a chant of "Amber Nicole Thurman" at her Atlanta rally. She won't name the 13 service members who died under her watch in Afghanistan, and she won't name any of the women who've been raped and murdered by illegal immigrants who slipped into the country under her tenure as border czar.
In short, the story is this. Thurman went to a clinic in North Carolina for a surgical abortion of twins. She missed her time slot, so the clinic gave her a course of two abortion pills. They killed the twins but didn't fully expel their remains from her body. She got very sick and died at a hospital in Georgia. But nothing in Georgia law stopped the doctors at the hospital from performing a D&C and extracting the fetal remains. The chemical abortion killed her … the same abortion pills Planned Parenthood was giving out like candy at its mobile clinic parked outside the Democratic National Convention.
Kamala, who has never said Laken Riley's name, leads a chant of "Amber Nicole Thurman" in Georgia — in the same speech where she falsely claims that Amber died due to a pro-life law. pic.twitter.com/o3spNowPzZ

And she calls it "Trump's abortion law," even though he's not in office and has no influence over Georgia legislation — which as I just said, didn't preclude doctors from saving Thurman's life.
Kamala is outright lying.

Amber died from an abortion gone wrong, and no plausible reading of the Georgia law kept the hospital from performing a D&C to remove the twins’ remains.
I sure hope my colleagues in the news media do not let this stand. https://t.co/ckclliFeJn
They will. She'll ride this train right through November.

We all know why her story is being misrepresented.
Just saying, it would be nice of Harris to lead chants of the names of others who've died under her watch.
