As Twitchy reported last week, the Ron DeSantis administration won a victory in court on the eve of Title 42 expiring, securing an injunction against a policy allowing migrants to be set free without a court date. As a result, migrants are being waved through with court dates “set as late as 2032 and 2035 in Chicago and Florida,” according to the New York Post. “Now they have been admitted to the county and given a court date, the migrants can receive a work permit and legally live and work in the US until their case comes up,” the Post adds.
Fox News’ Bill Melugin is calling out Karine Jean-Pierre for lying last week (and every week) and saying a mass release of migrants wasn’t happening. DHS reportedly released more than 6,000 migrants last Thursday without court notices, telling them to check in with ICE through their free cell phones.
DHS released more than 6,000 people on Thursday without court notices prior to a court order blocking the policy, according to a court filing Monday.
The migrants were told to check in with ICE offices.
The Biden admin has sought a stay of the judge's order.

A federal judge had asked for more details after a report said that DHS released people AFTER his order blocking the policy.
He raised the possibility of holding the government in contempt.

Government says the some 2,500 migrants who were released day after the order had already been fully processed.
Unclear how the judge will react.

.@PressSec last week : “Claims that CBP is encouraging or allowing mass release of migrants is just categorically false. That is not what’s occurring.”
Thursday alone, 6,000+ migrants released without a court date – and admin is arguing in federal court it needs these releases. https://t.co/e2kXQthYZM

Have to call a spade a spade. @PressSec blatantly misled the American public when she made those comments, and it is rather stunning she would make such a claim when there is such a mountain of evidence to the contrary all across the southern border. Look at El Paso’s streets.

Tell this to the veterans who were thrown out to make room for your new voter base and congratulations Biden, the invasion has been a great success.

Once again, the Federal Government has proven it's unable to fix anything. They can only throw money and lies at any problem.

Biden is a treasonous SOB on so many levels.

So Alejandro Mayorkas admits they’ve “released a number” of migrants without a court date. They were just told to “check in” with ICE offices? Like that’s going to happen.
