This is rich. We see here that The Recount tweeted this excerpt from Hugh Hewitt’s show yesterday … one day before President Joe Biden, campaigning in Pennsylvania for Senate candidate John Fetterman, turned to Fetterman’s wife and said, “Gisele, you’re going to be a great, great lady in the Senate.” Not only that: When a reporter tried to ask Fetterman, who did not speak at his own rally, questions, his wife told him that they are there to celebrate and not do interviews. And it was just last week that a Rolling Stone reporter deleted a tweet calling Gisele “the de facto candidate.”
But The Recount wants us to think Dr. Mehmet Oz took “the moral low ground” by asking if Fetterman’s wife would be taking over a senator if Fetterman won.

Uh huh. https://t.co/hSBhnLk2l7

Fetterman is not capable of functioning. Gisele is the one who is actually in charge.
— Max (@MaxNordau) October 20, 2022
Its a very legitimate question lol

Rolling Stone called her the "De facto candidate". This theory didn't just fall out of the sky. https://t.co/EpdVIBwm8W

Sounds like a fair question. No idea why you'd think that is the low ground. I see Fetterman's vacant stare enough to wonder if there is anyone home. "The Eagles are better than the…Eagles." Lets not kid ourselves about what's up.

Sooo, is she or no?
— Julio N. Rausseo (@JNReports) October 20, 2022
Did Rolling Stone take the “moral low ground”, too?
— JayJay McMaster, CD (@tantrumblue1) October 20, 2022
Well @therecount is the expert in taking the moral low ground

We'd appreciate being honestly told who we're voting for. Either a fully functional Fetterman, a hand puppet of his wife, or a placeholder until he steps down and future Gov. Shapiro appoints a Philly progressive in his place

Everyone knows she’s running the show 🤷🏽♀️ Why are you upset that he pointed it out? 🤦🏾♀️
— Chris (@MarriedMilitary) October 20, 2022
She’s answered more questions from reporters than he has
— Adam Klein (@stellamydog) October 20, 2022
He’s right to ask. Biden said she’d be “a great lady in the senate.” She speaks for John and keeps the press away. Who are Pennsylvanians voting for, John or Gisele?
— The Spirit of Steve McQueen (@swordofthelord2) October 20, 2022
Well, this post backfired.
— James aka Rebels Part 2 (sir/mister/my lord) (@RebelsPart2) October 20, 2022
Yes, it did.
Narrator: Oz is being honest, and you know it's true.

The question is entirely legitimate. Calling it moral low ground is laughable. The question also applies to the White House btw, no matter how hard you want to ignore it.
— Edward (@EdN618) October 20, 2022
Why is she his proxy then?

the "moral low ground" isn't asking a legitimate question, especially when Gisele has stated she really runs the show.

Fetterman’s wife has also been the one demanding an apology from NBC News and “consequences” for the reporter who revealed that he did his interview through closed captioning because he was having trouble understanding her. She’s very, very much a part of his campaign.
