You probably don’t remember that one of the things President Barack Obama put his vice president in charge of was curing cancer. That was Joe Biden’s job during the Obama administration, but he didn’t quite get it done. By the time of his own presidential campaign, Biden was promising to cure cancer, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes if elected. Biden revisited the “Cancer Moonshot” Monday, and as he sometimes does, he told the people on the balcony, “Don’t jump from up there!”

He did something similar when he was posing for a photo with the U.S. Olympic team in May, yelling to the photographer, “Don’t jump!” Biden’s very cautious and should probably be kept away from rooms with balconies.

One of his favorite phrases is to say, "not a joke". In this case I guess this was his lame attempt at a joke.

"Don't jump. I'm still working on that cure for cancer"

To be fair, I'd rather jump than have to listen to that jerk too.

Wasn't he supposed to cure cancer? Another promise broken!

We have no idea what’s going through his head when he says things like this — we honestly don’t. Does the White House add this to the official transcript so generations can be embarrassed?
