As you no doubt heard, President Joe Biden tipped over on his bike in Delaware this morning. He wasn’t hurt, but even before Republicans could pounce, liberals were bringing up President Trump walking cautiously down a ramp as proof somehow that Biden is still more vigorous that the former guy. As we reported, CNN’s Chris Cillizza did a piece at the time on “why it matters,” but brushed off Biden’s tumble with a “been there.”
As long as we’re looking back at old hot takes on Trump’s fitness, how about this 2020 clip of CNN’s Brian Stelter refuting accusations about Biden’s fitness for office from Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage by showing footage of him riding a bike: “There he is riding a bike,” Stelter said.
