As Twitchy reported earlier, the University of North Texas’ Young Conservatives of Texas welcomed Jeffrey Younger to their campus yesterday to speak about his experience as a father whose young son was taken from his custody because Younger refused to recognize him as a girl. We’ve been covering this story for a long time … it was back in 2019 when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott tweeted that “the matter of 7-year-old James Younger is being looked into by the Texas Attorney General’s Office and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.”
The father, Jeffrey Younger, was shouted down by students, who pounded on the table and chanted, “F**k you, fascist.” Texas Democratic State Rep. Gene Wu explained why students were right to shout down Younger:
Republicans: Put into place policies that actually endanger the lives of trans children.
Also Republicans: Stop being so mean to us while we publicly brag about policies that endanger the lives of trans children.

Without any sense of irony, Republicans are saying:
"Why are you so intolerant of our intolerance?"

President Joe Biden on Wednesday released a statement on Texas’ new law:
In recent days, elected leaders in Texas have launched a cynical and dangerous campaign targeting transgender children and their parents. These actions are terrifying many families in Texas and beyond. And they must stop.https://t.co/2jh7kVb60J

Perhaps inspired by the woman who famously screamed as President Trump was sworn in, one student decided screaming was the best way to get their point across:

First, this is hilarious.
Second, if Democrats want to make the choice of "what America is" between this lady and her cabal of protestors and January 6 rioters, I'm not quite certain they are mentally ready for the choice that's the average citizen is going to make. https://t.co/2rHUDAVblE
