As Twitchy reported earlier Wednesday, Circuit Judge Bruce Schroeder dropped the hammer on the prosecutor in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, warning him, “You’re right on the borderline, and you may be over it.”
Now that the judge’s ringtone has been discovered to be “MAGA anthem” “God Bless the USA,” plenty of people are sure the fix is in. The Washington Post, in its role as an impartial observer, has noted that as the trial nears its end, the judge’s decisions from the bench have “come under scrutiny.”

The prosecution has botched its case, so now it’s time to focus on the judge.
WaPo gonna WaPo.

Dishonest much?

The Post writers know this trial has been ridiculous, so they have to prime the pumps for the inevitable acquittal.
— Torrey M. Spears 🇺🇸 (@torreymspears) November 10, 2021
That headline is a total mischaracterization of what happened. Binger asked questions about something that he wasn't allowed to ask about. WaPo is being unethical in characterizing this as the judge coming under scrutiny when it is the prosecutor committing misconduct.

This is not going your way and you need a scapegoat.

Um, I think the prosecutor is under scrutiny bro.
— Meh Shoe (@ShoeMeh) November 10, 2021
I believe the prosecution is who needs to come under scrutiny. They have no case at all after their own witnesses testified that it was self defense.

Yes, the judge checking the prosecutorial misconduct that has been prevalent throughout this entire trial should be scrutinized for what it is: necessary.

You mean like the judge making sure the defendant’s constitutional rights are respected? Those decisions?
— Will Chris (@originalwill17) November 10, 2021
You mean upholding the constitution and established trial norms instead of allowing a trial by media?
— fedaykin reepicheep (@dumbreepicheep) November 10, 2021
You mean the ones where he protects the defendant's rights? That's what judges are supposed to do even if it disagrees with your personal beliefs.
— "The" Real Death Valley Hobo 🇺🇸 🐅 (@DeathValleyHobo) November 10, 2021
How dare he protect a defendant's Constitutional rights?! And a white defendant at that. Outrageous.#LetsGoBrandon
— EricD 🇺🇲 (@TheMotleyMind) November 10, 2021
Correction: The prosecution's tactics/violating the judge's orders are what's under scrutiny.
— Mini_Mister (@JabbedTheHut) November 10, 2021
That is some next level spin.

Twitter armchair legal experts decided he was guilty before the trial and are upset that the trial isn't going the way they expected. Real legal experts knew that the prosecution's case was full of holes.

The justice system is not broken. It’s working exactly how it was designed from day one.

Y’all worried the judge might follow the law instead of the mob?

Look at that ratio

…and The Washington Post plays their card. Will they be responsible for some of the inevitable rioting when people are misinformed that some sort of misappropriation of justice has occurred?
— Aaron Weaver (@Dreamweavr6) November 10, 2021
Well, we all know Rittenhouse has benefited from “a lot of a sympathetic media towards him,” so maybe WaPo’s just trying to provide some balance.
