As Twitchy reported earlier, White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain had only one word for a CBS News immigration reporter’s tweet on overcrowding at the border: Facts.
Conditions in the largest Border Patrol facility for migrant children have changed dramatically.
In March, the Donna facility was severely overcrowded, holding 3,700 lone children.

Pods inside Donna designed to hold a handful of migrants were holding dozens of unaccompanied minors in March, leaving very little space between the mats children use to sleep.
Yesterday each pod was holding no more than eight children. The playpen for young children was empty.

So there are fewer kids in cages at one border facility?
The reason the number of migrant children in CBP custody has plummeted is that HHS has opened thousands of emergency beds in convention centers, military sites, work camps and another tent in Donna. CBP warned that acute overcrowding could return if HHS does not have enough beds.
