Drew Holden pulls Andrew Cuomo's old tweets on sexual harassment after his 'clinic in hypocrisy'

Remember back when he was testing the waters for a presidential run and Joe Biden put out a video assuring Americans that he’d been lectured on personal space? “Social norms are changing,” he explained. “Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future.”

As Twitchy reported, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo took the same tack during a press conference Wednesday in which he addressed the multiple accusations of sexual harassment against him. “I now understand that I acted in a way that made people feel uncomfortable,” he said, recalling that his father too used to kiss people as a “usual and customary way of greeting.” Those darn social norms changed right under his nose, too.

Drew Holden has put together another winning thread pitting Cuomo’s tweets about his fight against sexual harassment with his statement Wednesday.

“This behavior must end.”

“To Dr. Blasey Ford and all survivors of sexual assault, we believe you and we will fight for you.”

His “sweeping new workplace harassment protections” eliminate “the absurd ‘severe and pervasive’ standard of sexual harassment.”

They also thrive on the media’s penchant for pieces like “Why we’re crushing on Andrew Cuomo right now.”
