Mollie Hemingway observes how the media has suddenly embraced the deep state

On Monday night, Twitchy featured a thread about the deep state and how it’s not just a conspiracy anymore — the deep state is real, and it’s made up of not-silent heroes trying to save the nation.

And as Twitchy has reported, former CIA director John McLaughlin said during a roundtable in October, “Thank God for the deep state.” And an opinion piece published in the New York Times last month alerted us that “the deep state is alive and well, composed of patriotic public servants.”

No, the deep state isn’t some right-wing conspiracy anymore, and The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway has also observed that the media has now fully embraced and is promoting the deep state as heroes as well.
