Maybe Bill de Blasio shouldn’t have rushed to apologize after quoting Che Guevara in Miami. According to renowned thinkers such as Susan Sontag, Guevara was a swell guy, and Mia Farrow wasn’t about to let his name get dragged through the mud over some misunderstanding.
On Che Guevara:
Nelson Mandela: "an inspiration for every human being who loves freedom",
Jean Paul Sartre: "not only an intellectual but also the most complete human being of our age"
.Susan Sontag: "[Che's] goal was nothing less than the cause of humanity itself” pic.twitter.com/dWRxtAGadw— Mia Farrow (@MiaFarrow) June 27, 2019
Well, that changes everything. Is it too late for de Blasio to put on a Che T-shirt and rescind his apology?
No.

And a homophobic racist.
— Chewiechipsahoy (@Crapplefratz) June 27, 2019
That's why he murdered homosexuals right?

This is simply appalling.

All you have to do is wonder why most Cubans are disgusted by him. If you arent sure, a simple google search will educate you as to his cruelty and the people he murdered.

He was only a part of the regime that put members of my family in political prisons, nationalized their properties, and forced them to seek safe haven in America as political refugees because they didn’t confirm to the communist ideology #NoBig ?

Here’s a list compiled of the 100+ people Che personally murdered or were murdered at his command. A great icon for the left. https://t.co/thxTyQLm6V

Yes nice to romanticize but when you have to wait in line for basics which are in limited supply and the government seizes your family’s property whilst the rest of the community hides for fear of being mistaken and jailed as a political opponent – not so nice ???

#GoodGod A master of firing squads against those who had not yet stood trial; a friend of Raul Castro, who dreamed of dropping an atomic bomb over Manhattan, a Pied Piper who inspired a generation into armed struggle without promise.

This is grotesque coming from an artist, the films that have made you wealthy and famous…do you really think they’d be possible in a Communist country? Name one achievement in filmmaking under Castro
— Jason Conley (@skeptic74) June 27, 2019
Omg you’ve lost me. This is appalling

He's long been a darling of leftists and millionaire celebrities who have no knowledge of his actual record.
— Rob Murphy (@murphy_rob) June 27, 2019
He was a homophobic racist who put people in actual concentration camps.

“To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary … These procedures are an archaic bourgeois detail. This is a revolution!” -Che Guevara pic.twitter.com/PXi7hi1Le5

We thought Farrow didn’t like guns. Che was kind of big on them.
Che rounded up Cuba’s homosexuals into camps and executed political dissidents. Pass.
— James Garcia Alver (@JayAlver) June 27, 2019
He was a murderous animal who ENJOYED mass executions, you dope.
— Mattphilbin (@Mattphilbin) June 27, 2019
Let me tell you a little secret about certain people that Che liked to put in concentration camps
— Leon: The Semi-Pro (@leon_semi) June 27, 2019
You should google what he wrote in his diary after he executed Eutímio Guerra. Then come back to me with this bullshit. Also acknowledge that he sent gay folks to “re-education camps” in Cuba. Do your goddam research.

Another day, another Mia Farrow tweet to remind me why I hate this planet and hope we all succumb to climate change tomorrow.
