Beta watch: Beto O'Rourke not planning on declaring at Monday night's rally in El Paso

A lot is being made of the fact that Beto O’Rourke is holding a rally Monday night right down the street from President Trump in El Paso, Texas.

Don’t get excited, though; O’Rourke is still being pretty emo and says he’ll announce when the time’s right for him. Maybe he needs to drive around a little more to get in the right headspace.

His friends anticipate he’ll jump into the race? Who knew he had friends? Still pretty emo, though: “I told you, Mom, I’ll declare when I’m ready! Now leave me alone!”

So that’s why he blew off the chance to declare when he had a massive audience on “Oprah”? And then he ended up asking her if she was thinking about running … bold move.

Yeah, who? Let’s doxx those suckers.

But seriously, if he has any campaign staff put together, they really ought to give him a little push: Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Tulsi Gabbard, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro … they’re already off and running. Not far, but running.
