If there’s anyone out there in the Twitchy audience who’d like to use the delay brought to us by Sen. Jeff Flake to level any accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, go ahead — it’s not big deal if you’re just some nobody from Rhode Island.
Remember that guy from Rhode Island? The one who told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he knew a woman who’d been sexually assaulted by a “heavily inebriated” Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge back in 1985? And then who recanted his statement and apologized? Can you believe Sen. Chuck Grassley wants to hold him accountable?

Geez … you don’t prosecute some random guy just because he broke the law.
A man who made a false statement to Congress and diverted Senate resources to investigate that maaaaaaaaany liberal journalists reported as breaking news?
That silly ol fella? https://t.co/gMEFxENhU0

What’s your point exactly? ??

I like the Rhode Island bit. Who prosecutes people from Rhode Island? That's just crazy!

False statements to congress is a crime.

Yes, because lying to Congress has consequences.

Not random. It's a specific guy that lied about him assaulting a woman, woman comes out and says complete nonsense every interaction with kav was positive. And the senate used resources to fly out and investigate. Pretty sure that would land you in prison.

No harm, no foul, right? Oh, by the way, it looks like Julie Swetnick’s story is falling apart too over on NBC News.
as well they should.
