Earlier Saturday, Twitchy highlighted a tweet by the New York City Democratic Socialists of America, demanding that not only ICE be abolished, but also profit, prisons, cash bail, and borders. Peter J. Hasson pointed out that recent congressional primary winner Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a dues-paying member of the NYC DSA.
Ashley Feinberg — whom we’d swear to this day still insists she didn’t get owned by Ted Cruz over at Deadspin (she did, hard) — is taking the attention given to that tweet as evidence that conservatives are scared of Ocasio-Cortez and are boosting her campaign by giving her platform so much exposure.
