SICK: Dana Milbank doesn't trust White House physician, instead consults Bandy X. Lee

Twitchy has already told you about “girthers” — those who question Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson’s proclamation that President Trump weighs 239 lbs. (An NBC News reporter wondered if Trump would agree to a public weigh-in to prove it.)

And then there’s Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank, who isn’t sure he believes anything that Jackson had to say during Tuesday’s presser.

“Jackson has been a well-regarded doctor,” Milbank writes. “But since finding himself in Trump’s orbit, he has adopted the hyperbolic style and excessive flattery of the boss that we see in other, previously respectable members of Trump’s court.”

That’s a little obtuse … is he saying Jackson was lying about Trump’s health, or not?

Rather than rely on the word of the doctor who actually gave President Trump his physical, Milbank preferred instead to consult Bandy X. Lee, the editor of “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump” and assistant psychiatry professor from Yale who has never met him but would like Trump confined and given a psychological evaluation; that is, if it wouldn’t look so much like a violent coup (she despises violence, see).

Hey, look, it’s conservative blogger Jennifer Rubin.

Milbank’s readers saw no problem with him consulting Lee and blowing off Jackson as a Trump sychophant … or worse.
