One thing the media should have learned from the 2016 campaign season is that reporters really need to hit the road and do more shoe-leather journalism — get in the car and drive to places like downtown Arkansas and talk with the people who live there.
ABC News chief political analyst Matthew Dowd recently had a conversation with a Navy SEAL, and what he learned from that one talk was pretty shocking.
