As Twitchy noted earlier today, moms and others across the country bonded as members of a club they didn’t know had quite so many members: the #ImBlockedByShannonWatts club. The founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America (Moms Demand for short) did a bit of crowing about how she’d been blocked on Twitter by the NRA, leading others who’d never even tweeted her to share how they apparently had been blocked preemptively.
The NRA not only offers firearms education — like the time Wayne LaPierre advised Americans not to follow Joe Biden’s advice to fire two shotgun blasts blindly into the darkness to deter a suspected intruder — but as Dana Loesch, author of “Hands Off My Gun” notes, the NRA will actually engage in debate as well.
Love how the NRA engages in healthy discussion on real #gunsense while guntoting @MomsDemand bullies attack and block Midwestern moms re 2A.

When I was at NRA convention everyone was nice and talked. When I went to @MomsDemand rally their security bullied me carrying guns. Truth.

@DLoesch It's simple NRA is about freedom "the right to do" @MomsDemand is about taking away, control and their fear.very different energies

@DLoesch Some of the nicest ppl I have ever met have been freedom loving, God fearing, law abiding gun owners at gun shows and gun shops.

Also @momsdemand repeatedly asked to contribute to @ProjChildSafe for safety kits and trigger locks. They refuse. So much for "safety."
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) December 27, 2014
Sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Project ChildSafe distributes free firearm safety kits comprising gun-locking devices and a brochure discussing safe handling and storage.
@DLoesch @MomsDemand @ProjChildSafe gun safe with a lock, proper firearm handling and manipulation training. What's the issue?

@DLoesch @MomsDemand @ProjChildSafe that's because they aren't about safety. They just dont like guns

I challenge @momsdemand — instead of blocking us Midwestern 2A moms — put up and prove safety advocacy. Donate to @ProjChildSafe . Dare u!

Would the last person who isn’t blocked by Shannon Watts like to pass along that challenge?
