What is it with Piers Morgan and “the pope thing”? A week after tweeting that he finds the pope’s resignation “a bit lame,” Morgan kicked off his interview with former President Jimmy Carter with this bizarre observation:

Wouldn’t an American president resigning because of “tiredness” also be a bit lame? It’s the first question we’d ask Jimmy Carter if given the chance.
